With his track record and absolutely terrible excuse of signature luck, you would've thought that nothing could surprise him at this point. But in his defence, Lloyd supposes that not ever expecting this warranted an excuse at least. Especially during a time like now.
...all he'd done was gone to sleep. For crying out loud—that was basically it, so how the hell—
Or; Five days after witnessing his brothers' deaths at the hands of the Colossus, Lloyd gets a chance, a chance to go back, live again and fix it all, while in the body of the kid he hates the most.
And surprisingly, it soon turns out that he isn't the only one with such luck.

Diluc’s coming home was not a dramatic affair. She opened the door and Adelinde was there to greet her as always. Elzer caught her up to speed on the winery’s affairs and she smoothly inserted herself back into the running of both the winery and the Angel’s Share.
Her return wasn’t dramatic, but it was an ache that settled into her ribs every time someone called her ‘Master’ or ‘he’, a scratch across her knuckles every time she had to correct her posture or gestures to be more manly, a stabbing at her heart as she deceived everyone she knew and loved into thinking she was someone she was not.

Diluc returns from her travels knowing who she is, but terrified of showing it to anyone. One night, Adelinde finds her experimenting with self expression in her room, and things begin to snowball from there. Lord Garmadon neglected to inform his son about the consequences of a part dragon-oni hybrid suddenly springing into full Oni form. Now, Lloyd's growing furry ears and tails and developing weird habits, and he's really not sure how much more he can take.
AKA Lloyd is transforming into the smol lil' green bean he is and is absolutely done with everything. Oh, and he's feeling random urges to throw people off buildings, but that's normal. Mostly.
I have too much time on my hands. Enjoy the fluff and angst, people.
