“Uh—I could….” Jo mumbled something, looking away.
“Huh?”
“Y’know, uh—I could..” Jo scratched his neck, clearly embarrassed, avoiding Yuma’s eyes. “I could massage it for you. If it’ll help you fall asleep.”
Yuma hears what Jo said loud and clear, but he doesn’t speak. He doesn’t know how to react to it. Jo has never offered to touch Yuma, ever, not without him asking for it.
Or, Yuma has muscle cramps, and Jo wants to be helpful.
