Summary

Through emails before Ilya arrives, and messages they type into google translate while sitting next to one another they start to feel things you really shouldn't feel for someone your parents keep calling your brother. -

The owner Ellen treats him like family which means her whole gaggle of misfits are his family now too.

It's a Hallmark movie where a heroine leaves the big city to reconnect with family and old flame and small town life, but our heroine is a hero who has some good reasons for preferring the big city to the small town.

Saw the idea of Dean as a girl dad on tumblr ages back, and couldn't get the idea out of my head, because I really think it would change just about everything. -

Carlos and Iris's lavender marriage went a bit further in this fic than in the show. When Carlos and TK meet Carlos is the single father to one sassy six year old girl, and one adorable toddler boy.
When TK get scared he doesn't run away from his family like he did from Carlos. They land on a happily ever after a bit earlier and with more alive family members than the show.
