Summary

A 17 year old Muggleborn Communist from Wizarding East Germany who has to repeat two years of his education due to a combination of turmoil in his native country and unhelpful bureaucracy. Lord Voldemort has returned, and the Specter of Fascism is haunting Konrad's new home.

If Hermione made it through the war, she didn't want to just win, but make sure that things wouldn't go back to 'normal'. She not only has plans, but also friends in the Ministry; she'll get those in power to agree with her. And beyond the veil, Sirius has repaid a debt that can only help her.
Hermione has relied on wixen ignorance of anything non-magical to protect her parents; and now she'll use her knowledge to create institutional reform and deal with grief.
