"That was another thing that had changed. Recently, he noticed that Buck had been showing up to his house more often, and it really wasn’t all that empty anymore.
At first, he thought he was just trying to find another distraction to cope with his breakup that happened still not too long ago, but the way he was acting made it seem a little odd for it to just be that. He had finally gotten over his obsessive baking habit the past week, apologizing profusely for stealing the last of Eddie’s baking supplies.
Whatever it was, he wasn’t sure. Ever since he had mentioned the possibility of moving, it seemed that Buck had clung onto him as tightly as possible and refused to leave his side.
Buck had never outright asked him to stay, but it was abundantly clear that he wanted him to."
