By the time they’d met, Oliver had already killed and the muted green of his eyes had shifted from front-page pictures of glory days to the real thing, but Eddie had been interested then and he’s interested now.

Summary
In-between these deserted stretches of highway and the rare glare of too-bright passing headlights in the night, Eddie keeps an eye on the kid. It’s dark enough that the contrasts that constitute so much of Connor have deepened, and in the low light his blonde hair seems almost too fair against his dark skin. He’s got a lot of Ollie in him and it’s all the good parts, too.
(After the dragon's blood, Connor's got something he needs to work through.)
