Summary
Ousted from the Vees, Vox finds himself with nowhere else to go but the Hazbin Hotel. Juggling the total loss of his power & influence, a shitty marketing job, and dealing with increasing incidents of power-boosted sinners wreaking havoc, Vox has truly hit rock bottom. The therapy sessions and happy-go-lucky musical numbers aren't helping.
Despite it all, things could be worse. At least he's playing detective in a secret situationship with Alastor.

Alastor could not be called a selfish lover.
To call him that would imply he had sex for his own satisfaction, which more often than not was not the case. Sex was – to him – something he mainly indulged in because Vox seemed to enjoy it; and Alastor liked it when Vox was enjoying himself. He was rather fond of that foolish picture box, and more than willing to put up with his cherished sticky pastimes.
He, could, perhaps, be called a lazy lover – but was that really such an issue? After all, he was indulging Vox in something rather unproductive; it only made sense to him that Vox did all the work.

Vox was good at his job. Damn good at it, which was why it was so fucking annoying that his superiors had decided he needed to take a 'mandatory wellness break'. They had their panties all in a twist just because they found out he hadn't taken a vacation day in over two years, spewing some garbage about 'occupational health and safety'.
His winning smile and knowing, 'I won't tell if you don't,' hadn't managed to convince them out of this ridiculous idea, which was how he'd found himself being dropped off by a bus – a bus, him, on a bus! – in the town centre of what might as well be called Bumfuck Nowhere.
