    Jack, the "Makes a mess wherever he goes" guy, continues to mess up in ways he doesn't think he can recover from. With his powers suddenly going rampant and he and his friend's desperate search for the New Guardian leading to dead end after dead end, Jack ends up farther from home than he had ever wanted to be.

    Stuck in a forgotten world of magic, on an island called Berk with his powers now depleted, Jack has to look for answers he isn't sure he will ever get. He just hopes he can make it back home and receive a little closure before the Dragons eat him.

    Unfortunately, the guy named Hiccup he keeps running into is far more of a headache than dodging dragons could ever be.

    Jack Frost and E. Aster Bunnymund haven’t been getting along recently. Ever since defeating Pitch seven months ago, things have gotten better between the two, but a few months is hardly enough time to get over forty years of dislike and distrust.
    After the two screw up a battle due to their fighting, they find themselves waking up mortal in the Viking Ages. Jack and Bunny try to find a way to return to their own time, but higher powers and fate seem to have other plans for them. Bunny’s past begins to haunt him as he struggles with an abrupt transformation, and Jack, used to being invisible, finds himself gravitating towards this new life—especially to one brand new Chief of Berk, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III.

    In which Jack and Bunny are thrown back into the Viking Ages—Jack gets comfortable, Hiccup sucks at dealing with his own grief, and Bunny is forcibly sentenced to Viking Babysitting. At least there’s cool dragons.

    AveryTheMayo, or just Avery, traced the lines of the map with a trembling finger. Feeling an almost physical pull toward it. A magnetic tug that pressed against the inside of his chest. He imagined the floors, the corridors stretching into darkness. He couldn’t help but imagine the sterile fluorescent lights humming above.

    “How am I going to do this…?” He said outloud.

    . . .

    The ritual didn’t fail. It just didn’t end.

    D3rLrd3, or Derek survives, but not in any way that makes sense. Taken by the U.S Department of Metaphysical Sciences, he becomes something they cannot explain. Only contain.

    Avery is the only one who notices, the evidence that Derek is still out there. Now he is on the run with someone who knows too much. Remembers things that haven’t happened yet, and isn’t entirely human anymore.
    Retrieving him is the easy part.

    Understanding what came back isn’t. Derek knows how all of this ends.
    And he stayed anyway.
