Summary
After Yeonjun moved out, Beomgyu is left to pick up the pieces of his broken heart and put them back together by himself. But if they never dated and Beomgyu has never been in love with Yeonjun, why did his heart break?
or alternatively;
“Did you break up with someone?” Taehyun prompts when Beomgyu still has not said a word.
“Is it a breakup if you’ve never dated, though?” the words leave his lips before he even realises it.
“In a way, yes,” Taehyun answers without even a hint of hesitation. “It’s still a loss to you and you’re grieving over it.”
“Grieving,” Beomgyu echoes mindlessly.
Is that what he is doing currently? Grieving over the loss of... whatever the arrangement that he had with Yeonjun? But why is it a loss to him? He is fine, he will be fine. If it never meant anything to Yeonjun to the point that he could just get up and leave, why should it mean anything to him too? That would just make him so pathetic. He refuses to be pathetic. His ex-girlfriend already made him feel pathetic enough back then and he has vowed not to put himself in the same situation ever again.
