When Xue Meng awoke, he found himself in a dimly lit room. Despite the faint candlelight, he could see this room was lavishly decorated, and he was lying down on a large bed, a sheer blue curtain covering either side. Xue Meng did not recognize this place, but the smell was familiar… It took him a moment to place it… it was the incense burned at Kunlun Taxue Palace! There was some other, vaguely familiar smell in the room that he couldn’t place. Curious to figure out what was going on, Xue Meng stood from the bed, shivering slightly-- he was only wearing his inner robe, and this room was freezing. Across the room, his robes had been thrown carelessly aside, strew on the ground. These were not his Sect Leader robes, either, they were ornately detailed, and a little too big for him.
Xue Meng lazily started to get dressed when the door opened.
A familiar voice spoke. “Now where do you think you’re going?”
