A meeting, perhaps. A mission. Several hours. Time had become unreliable after Dazai returned to the container, and he had made no attempt to discipline it. There had been a clock once, but its ticking irritated him, so he had drowned it in a bucket. He thought it might still be there in the corner.
“Go away,” Dazai called.
There was a brief silence outside. Then Chuuya said, “Open the fucking door.”
or: Dazai is halfway through bleeding himself numb when Chuuya tears the door off its hinges. Being found does nothing to make him want to live.
