Delicate strains of music can carry the weight of emotions Diluc won't admit to feeling far better than words ever could, calling to Childe like a sailor to a siren's song. For his part, Childe's never been a particularly skilled musician, to express himself in the same fashion. But that won't stop him from returning Diluc's affection in his own manner - he's always been given to physical displays anyway.

When the retirement plan came into motion, he was already settled into the human skin. The draconic instinct in Zhongli grew dormant after millennia of lack of use. Frankly, it would be an understatement to say that any sort of primal desires haven’t appeared on his mind for longer than he could bother to remember. It was alright by him. Zhongli was certain he could exist perfectly intact without ever engaging with a partner again.
And then, one sunny summer day, the Eleventh Fatui Harbinger stepped onto the docks of Liyue, and Zhongli was doomed.
Or, Zhongli is afraid to sleep with Childe because he might impregnate him, and Childe is a bit too into the idea.

Summary
The Fatui's information network was not to be underestimated. If there was anyone in Mondstat who ought to have been able to remember that, it was Diluc. But even he was at something of a loss as he stared across at the ginger-haired Harbinger cheerfully asking about Angel's Share's secret credit system.
It was a bad idea, there was no doubt about that. But the opportunity to have the Eleventh Harbinger bend to his whim was one he just couldn't pass up.
