At least thirty years worth of derivative romcoms told Nicholas Wilde when Judy appeared around the van, dressed in shimmering dandelions, ears rolled into a suave bun, he’d reached the part of the movie where he realized she was beautiful all along. It was supposed to be the exact moment and would’ve been had Nick not already discovered that fairly consequential and relevant tidbit of information several weeks ago.
He was the Freddie Finch Jr. to Judy’s Rachel Neigh Hoof.
Alas, they were on Chapter 2. Romantic interests usually didn't figure it out until Chapter 3, at minimum.

The Warners were not feral children. Crazy, zany, and totally insane-y, but never feral. Dot sometimes had a short temper, and Wakko could get legitimately angry if the right buttons were pushed, but normally hitting people with their mallets was meant to be taken in good fun instead of seriously injuring them. And then there was Yakko, the talker, Mr. “use the pen and not the sword when you’re in a fight,” the one who annoyed his special friends with words rather than cartoon violence. He would do anything to protect his younger siblings, but he also knew that they could handle themselves in most situations. Not tonight.

Summary
Aang knew grief like an old friend. In his youth, it had been painful to grapple with the idea that the Air Nomads were gone, that he was truly alone. But this time, it was different. This was new. The emptiness that often accompanied the pit in Aang’s stomach was replaced with something sickening. His body rejected the possibility of Bumi’s death like poison. It wasn’t real. He had to be alive.
OR: When he's 19, Bumi II gets hurt in the United Forces and his family is told he is missing in action.
