Mikey hadn’t actually done anything that day that he believed he needed forgiving for, it was more a hypothetical question, but Takemichi answered immediately. His quick answer made sense, given that he’d forgiven Mikey for the three, still pinkish scars on his chest, for uprooting his entire life, for taking him from the girl that he’d thrown himself back in time again and again.
“Why?” It baffled Mikey how easily Takemichi gave his absolution.
Takemichi looked up at him from the flour he was weighing for bread he’d bake the next day. “Because I can. And you deserve it.”
Takemichi survives the shots from the bowling alley and goes to live with Mikey in the Bonten timeline

“Of course you have contingencies for me,” Tim says, in a tone that suggests Bruce even pretending otherwise is both annoying and an insult to Tim's intelligence. “You have contingencies for everyone.”
“Not everyone,” Bruce says. “Not you.”
Bruce keeps his breathing even and measured, doesn’t betray for a second the relief he feels when Tim believes him. When Tim doesn't find the uglier, unsaid truth beneath Bruce’s carefully considered words.
The lack of contingencies for Red Robin does not mean that Batman trusts him infallibly.

"You're forgiven," Tim repeated, as if confirming a simple fact. "And you were right. About the labs. It was a violation... You were correct to call it out."
"No," Kon whispered, shaking his head. "No, I wasn't right. I was a jerk—"
"It's handled," Tim interrupted, his voice still flat. "I've taken care of it. All of it."
...
"It won't hurt anymore," Tim said, and for a fleeting second, there was something in his eyes. A flicker of profound, unsettling certainty. "It won't hurt anyone. Ever again."
Or
Kon has been dead for 2 years. Tim tried and failed to clone him, and once Kon is resurrected and finds out he is repulsed.
