Summary
There was some new asshole terrorizing Gotham. The bats couldn’t get close to the territorial alpha, even in civvies–“Sharp nose,” Dick said over the phone, a growl in his throat–so Roy got called in. His scent was relatively neutral even though he was strong, and he played nice with other alphas well enough. Besides, he wasn’t nearly as recognizable as the bats. Just another redheaded thug.
He knocked on the door and muttered to the guy at the door that he was there to talk to Red Hood about a job. The beta at the door let him in and lead him into the restored warehouse, to where a group of alphas and betas were crowded around a table. At the head was a bulky figure in brown leather and with a red helmet obscuring his face, and over his head was a strip of yellow silk that made Roy want to show his teeth. A Robin cape–Dick’s or Jason’s because Tim’s was lined with black. He resisted the curl of his lip and instead showed Red Hood the side of his throat.

Summary
Jason was a pretty heavy guy. As a kid, he was small and malnourished, and it was easy to let himself be swept up into Bruce's arms whenever he got injured on patrol or when he needed the comfort of his father. After the pit, he felt so wrong in his body. He had grown bigger than he had ever expected, bulky muscles that took up too much room in his skin.
He could no longer be swept up into somebody's arms whenever he needed the help, instead needing to be supported by two shoulders as he hobbled over to wherever they needed him to go. A broken ankle had him hopping on one leg back to the Batmobile, and crippling exhaustion had him lying on the floor, passed out until he was finally able to find the energy to push himself back up.

It was different than the usual effects of Fear Toxin dosing—this was his self being slammed back into his body and held inside like a cast mold. He could feel the tethers keeping him grounded in his body.
While out dancing with Roy and Tim, Jason is drugged - and despite it all, he manages to have a good time.
