Set immediately post-canon, two hats ending.

Siffrin is severely craft-exhausted, traumatized, and grieving the loss of Loop. Their family is determined to take care of him and show them they’re worth the ‘trouble’. AKA, there isn’t enough post-canon recovery fics and I want to make the blorbo both suffer and smother them with love. No consistent updates or overarching plot!

    Summary

There wasn’t one book or piece of furniture out of place. Not even a spec of dust had touched any of it. All of it was exactly as he had left it.

All of it, except for one thing.

It wasn’t out of place or unexpected so much as Aziraphale thought that he had lost it and didn’t know if he would ever see it again. It was the most precious thing in his life, far more beloved than any book, more cherished and admired than any author. Aziraphale had decided a long time ago that he would give up everything he had ever collected, everything else he had ever loved or would ever love, as long as this one stayed safe until the day that the universe itself ceased to exist.

    "Oh, Crowley."

    Summary

It’s not that Aziraphale doesn't like Heaven, no, of course not, but staying anywhere for so long is always tricky. You’re bound to get sick of the place and the people no matter how perfect they seem– that’s why he can’t stand to be under harsh white lights for long anymore.

He’s never grown tired of his bookshop, though. He’s never grown tired of Crowley.

But that didn’t matter, in the end, did it? He left. Best not to bother him now.

The bookshop, too, is most likely taken care of. Aziraphale could go down to check, but he never has.
