how could he allow one to touch him when they belong to the sediments of the world? the oceans cannot reach the stars, nevertheless the moon with its gravitational and alluring splendor, drawing the brine in for deliverance, but always at a distance.
how could he indulge in his humanity, sink into that sea of selfish autonomy, when he was to be divine? to do so would terminate his holy sight, and succeedingly in his continued crusade, would it not just be the blind leading the blind? how could he embrace the mortal fallacy in the rawest way, allow the waves to pull him down and drown in it? to truly and exclusively love?
