Mav’s not entirely sure what happened.
One minute he was talking to Bradley - actually talking properly with no glaring or poisonous contention between them, all of that drained away hours earlier as that sat together, practically breathing as one on the carrier back, dazed over having made it back in the first place - and the next, the sun had caught on the amber of Bradley’s eyes, and he’d just looked so beautiful.
Mav was cupping his face and climbing into his lap; shitty old sofa creaking under his weight, and Bradley gasping against his mouth, before he even realised what he was doing.
