Summary
Cherry seemed to think about it for a moment before she slowly closed the gap between their lips. Apple had about three seconds to pull back, but she didn’t. Neither of them knew why she didn’t. The kiss itself, if you could even call it that, lasted for two seconds. Their lips had barely touched. Within that time, however, Apple made a notable observation: Cherry’s lips did actually taste like cherries.
As expected, everything evil and miserable brewing inside of Apple pushed Cherry away, and rather aggressively at that.
“Fig must be waiting for us.” Apple panted, climbing into the driver’s seat. That short and pathetic kiss had somehow managed to suck all the air out of her.
Cherry nodded, buckling her seatbelt and picking her hat up off the ground. “Totes.” She internally cursed herself for that. Who said ‘totes’? She knew damn well she didn’t.

“Did you just hook up with someone?” Minjeong raised an eyebrow, stunned. It came out a bit more interrogative than she’d preferred. She just wasn’t really expecting Yu Jimin to be as scandalous as this. She kind of liked it.

Yooyeon and Seoyeon hadn’t had a single schedule together since last year. Even when they did, the two wouldn’t even spare a glance at each other. They sat as far from each other as they could, avoiding interaction at all costs.
A few years ago, they would’ve been chatting like it was the last day on Earth and laughing their asses off. Yooyeon would’ve taken any opportunity to tease Seoyeon, but now, it seemed as if they were complete strangers.
