“Oh,” Shouto says breathlessly like he also felt that punch and suddenly the omega looks alarmed. His hands begin to fidget, eyes looking around anxiously, pulling his trench coat around his frame like he wants to hide from Katsuki. The gesture stings but isn’t unwarranted. They haven’t spoken since that call ages ago.
He continues to stare like he’s looking at a ghost in broad daylight, struggling to grasp onto the right words to say to his ex-husband, “he-hey Sho–”
“Papa, I found my chips!” A young girl runs up to Shouto’s cart and drops a familiar looking bag of spicy chips into the cart.
Papa?

Summary
Izuku watches as Shouto walks in the direction of the bathroom on clumsy, still tired feet, taking a quick break in front of Kacchan to press a soft kiss right on his forehead before he continues his slow journey.
When the door closes behind him Izuku's gaze shifts to Kacchan who intently stares at his own feet to avoid eye contact at all costs before he decides to switch tactics and stares right at Izuku, daring him to say something.
Izuku is actually stunned into absolute silence.

Todoroki frowns. He looks behind his shoulder, visibly hesitating. "It's all right," he says, looking again at Katsuki. "I'm not really hungry."
He doesn't sound sincere.
He also doesn't seem to want to leave his room.
At the start of his third year at UA, Todoroki Shouto's oldest brother passed away.

Summary
Todoroki Touya dies in the early hours of the 12th of January.
He dies quietly, painlessly, in his sleep, surrounded by people he cared about once upon a time, by people that loved him until the bitter end. Touya leaves the world the same way he came into it, held in his mother’s arms and cradled with all the gentleness in the world.
Shouto thinks a small part of him dies that day too.
He doesn’t remember the funeral.
or: Touya finally succumbs to his injuries and Shouto struggles to handle what comes afterwards.
