Summary
She stays at her dad’s for the next two nights, quickly recalls why she hasn’t done that for weeks now.
It doesn’t not bother her, being apart from him. She’d forgotten how monotonous it all was- the going to work and coming home, wash, rinse, repeat. Doing it alone, spending the night replaying the day, mustering together a meal just because you have to.It bothers her a lot, being apart from him.
Two days of being distant and overly-professional, of Carmy never looking her in the eye. He put the ball in her court, and now she feels as if it’s being repeatedly bashed against her forehead.
It’s day three of their fight, and Sydney is starting to get worried.
