Following the Battle of Hogwarts starting one night a dark ominous fog spreads throughout London like a tentacle, it moves as if it was alive - with intention - acting as a siren of sorts. Calling to those with weak minds, drawing them in and taking them, never to be seen again. The fog appears every night, always taking and always with a purpose. Once consumed by the fog you vanish.
Hermione's knowledge and skill is being overlooked.
Draco Malfoy is immune to the fog, so he offers his services to the Order to put an end to Voldemort. Or is it really just to get close to her again?Draco Malfoy. The one wizard who undermines her without even trying, who infuriates her to no end, the boy who can light her skin on fire by just a look, and also the one person who has been consuming her brain since third year will be evading her mind while she has no control over what he sees.

Summary
Ten years after the war ended and Lucius Malfoy is finally released from Azkaban to participate in a re-acclimation program for former Death Eaters. Much to his annoyance, the auror chosen to watch him for the year is none other than Harry Potter. Harry is equally displeased with this arrangement but Ministry decisions are Ministry decisions. They head into the year as forced flat mates with resignation and a mindset of trying to not kill each other by the end of it.
But this is Harry Potter and Lucius Malfoy - both attract trouble like moths to a flame - and they soon find themselves wrapped up in a series of mysterious burglaries, Ministry politics, disappearances, and arcane ritual magic. What could possibly go wrong?
