Summary
Keith immediately sees something in Lance's eyes and knows he needs to run. They run the rest of the way home, hollering out laughs as Lance tries to catch Keith. He only manages to catch him when they get to the dorm building.
“Wow, you’re fast,” Lance says, out of breath.
“Maybe you’re just slow,” Keith says.
“Take that back,” Lance says.
“Never,” Keith says, sticking out his tongue.
“If I wasn’t so out of breath right now, I’d attack you,” Lance says.
“Oh, hello boys,” Coran says, rounding the corner, “were you just on a run?”
The two break into laughter and Coran looks between them.
“Yeah,” Keith says, “Lance here is a good influence on me.”
“Well, that’s good to see,” Coran says.
“What brings you here?” Keith asks.
--OR--
Keith is stuck alone at his school when everyone goes back to their families during the holidays. He's pretty lonely, but Coran's poor planning as head of the school, leaves him to show the new guy, Lance, around. Keith has a long week ahead of him.

Summary
Just then, a familiar male voice sounded from directly behind him. “Neither can I,” said Blue, leaning in so close that the short blue hair of his fringe brushed the side of Keith’s neck. “We have so much in common, huh?” he purred into the skin behind his ear. Keith ignored his flirting and tilted his head to look at the familiar superhero. “You sure took your time. I have a meeting in 15”.
Or

Summary
Because Lance is scared of Pidge, unable to say no to Hunk and maybe a little bit in love with Keith, he ends up on a trip to a ski resort despite his deep rooted hatred for anything cold and snowy. The trip was supposed to be cozy and simple, but things can never be that easy for Lance.
OR
“I uh- I really wasn’t kidding about not liking the cold,” Lance admits with a shrug, “but it’s fine. I don’t wanna ruin the fun for Hunk.”
“It doesn’t help that those mittens are crappy,” Keith says, “here, mine are a lot better.”
Lance watches as Keith takes his gloves off and slips them under his arm. When Lance doesn’t move, Keith rolls his eyes and reaches for his hands, taking his mittens off. Lance hisses as the cold air hits his skin, but his face is burning hot enough he’s certain he doesn’t even need the mittens anymore. Keith puts his gloves in Lance’s hands and slips the mittens onto his own.

Summary
“I can't,” Keith breathed, “keep pretending anymore, Lance.”
The way the sentence was delivered was the same way you'd expect someone to utter their last words, breathy and with abandon. You had nothing to lose, and you just want them to let them out desperately.
“Pretending.” Lance shaped the term carefully in his mouth. He stopped for a tick before continuing, “to… like my family? Or like, the cooking? Because I know it was Rachel's turn to cook but she's getting better.”
Keith let out a laugh that, if Lance had to be completely honest, sounded more like a cry for help.
