Summary
“No relationship is perfect, especially when you have to meet in the middle. But I’m very happy.”
“I gather your Max is not from your world, then?” the reporter gently presses for details.
“Uhm.” Charles looks down at his hands and smiles. His Max. “I’ll just say that… I know how to drive, he knows Aristotle.”Or: Charles is a F1 driver, Max is doing his PhD at Cambridge. It really shouldn’t work. Somehow, it does.

Summary
“What the fuck was that, mate? You could have at least tried being convincing, blimey.”
“Enjoy playing my part for the cameras, don’t you, Russell?” Max snaps.
“Oh my god, of course you’d say that,” George mutters, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Like it or not, you’re gonna have to. Or would you rather be found out?”
Max opens his mouth, finds seemingly nothing to say, and closes it.
“And for the record,” George adds, “I don’t know what’s happening. Obviously.”Or: In Singapore, Max and George swap bodies, at the height of their title fight. It’s a nightmare. It’s also... an opportunity. Maybe. If George can figure out how to use it — and if Max doesn't beat him to it.

Summary
“We’re busy, come back later,” George says, dismissively.
But Max stays right where he is, gaze flicking from George, to Kimi’s back, the unmistakable jerk of his arm. George is sure it’s easy to deduce what they’re busy doing- from the shake of Kimi’s frame, from the slick sounds, from their positions, sitting opposite one another.
To his annoyance, Max doesn’t leave. After a minute of observing from afar, he walks further into the room, slowly, stepping around the bed, brushing past Kimi, whose eyes track the motion eagerly. He gives the younger man a cocked brow, tilting his head slightly in question, and Kimi can only gasp, his fingers twitching around himself.
Or: Mentorship is a tricky relationship born out of both rivalry and encouragement. George isn't sure how to navigate the web of it with Kimi, only knows how to repeat what he's been through himself. It isn't exactly easy, especially when Max keeps interfering, pushing the boundaries he tries hard to set.

Summary
"That’s the problem, isn’t it? He won’t let me knot him,” George threw a hand up, the one not clutching his drink, shaking his head.
“Can you blame him, though? Would you let him knot you?” Alex asked, chin in his hand as he sipped from his beer. Lando glanced back in time to see George wrinkle his nose.
“Absolutely not,” he said with a shake of his head, which caused Alex to snort.
“I can’t believe you alphas and how stupid you can be,” he muttered. Lando gave a nod of approval at the words, though he wasn’t sure either of his friends caught onto it. “It’s not that uncommon, is it? I feel like I’ve heard of alphas getting together. I’m pretty sure it’s happened around us.”
“Maybe. But that’s not- you don’t get it. You couldn’t, mate, no offense. We’re just made to fight it, I suppose. But Max… He’d like it, if he could just open up to it. He looks like he wants it, sometimes. But he’s just so caught up in his head. Gets prissy when I mention it.”
Lando watched as Alex studied George’s face briefly. He seemed to be looking for a sign George could see the irony in his words- yet found nothing. He huffed eventually, shaking his head slightly. “Right. Wonder why.”
