    With Lan Wangji away from the Cloud Recesses, some Lan Elders take advantage and use a banned, ancient array on Wei Wuxian to turn him into their version of a perfect disciple... Lan Wangji would burn the world to get his Wei Ying back.

    Wei Wuxian was sitting at the low table in the center of the room in pristine white Gusu robes, his hair up in one of the many fine jade hair pins that Wangji had gifted him yet Wei Wuxian refused to wear out of fear of breaking or losing them. His posture was immaculate as he took a demure sip of tea before placing the cup down and elegantly rising to his feet to greet the two men with a bow.

    “Welcome back Hanguang-Jun. I trust your journey was pleasant?” Wei Wuxian asked.

    Lan Wangji looked to Sizhui who was eyeing Wei Wuxian as if the display had been painful to watch. “Like I said…” he spoke softly, just for Lan Wangji’s ears. “…he’s not hurt, but he’s acting really weird.”

    It seems like a moment where a response is required.

    Wei Ying squares his shoulders a touch and ventures, “Uh, chains and whips? That excite people?”

     

    Wei Ying craves rough sex and simply blames any (obviously unrelated) unpleasant feelings the next morning on a hangover. Lan Zhan is two things: appalled, and willing to teach him about the art of aftercare.
