also there are references to how both mark and cesar canonically/fanonically die in here so please dont read this if you're sensitive to that!! ill write a kinder mark & cesar fic one day i promise

Summary
They held each other, for that little moment, Adam gently rocking on his heels so that they could sway slightly in each other's hold. Jonah could hear the blood rush in his ears, but he focused his attention on how the alternate's own chest seemed to beat with its own rhythm, mimicking a heart it didn't have just to prove how much Jonah made it feel.
He's the real Adam, to him. He's back, for good.
