The fic to end all fics. I think my life has genuinely been changed. This is the new cannon. This feels like cannon. I LOVE the way remus is characterized, I feel like I was right there with him, feeling his anger, anxiety, grief, melancholy, despair. I love the way the narration style changed as remus aged, im blown away at how perfectly this captured the emotional maturity and comprehension of 13 y/o kids. Its funny, its heartbreaking, its frustrating, its beautiful. My music taste has forever been changed, and i have a very new very deep appreciation for bowie. It felt effortless, the way this story was able to bring me into a headspace, a mood, a time, an era of history. It felt like it didn’t have to try too hard, in a weird way? Grant is my baby, remus and sirius have made me so happy and sad, poppy is the best, lily and james were one big fucking tragedy, and this was amazing. This fic has 1000% well earned its spot in the history books of fanfiction.

Genuinely amazing. so many kudos
Basically Harry Potter: the better version. Its a whole saga through all of the Harry Potter books, but Harry gets the life and ending he deserves, rather than the one Dumbledore designed. Its got Drarry, my favorites stay alive, its got pettiness, humor, sadness, intensity, all of the things.
SUCH a good fic, i’m so blown away.
