Il primo incontro tra Louis Tomlinson, calciatore veterano del Manchester City reduce da un tremendo incidente automobilistico ed Harry Styles, prete cattolico ed anticonformista, dedito alla cura delle anime spaesate, non va nel migliore dei modi.
La sorella di Louis, però, pensa che la guida spirituale di Harry possa giovare al tremendo periodo che pare soffocare lo sportivo: la perdita della madre, della sorella Felicité e la possibilità di non poter più tornare sul campo dell'Ethiad Stadium, paiono averlo fatto sprofondare in una densa apatia.
Certo, il fatto che il poster di Louis sia stato appeso per anni alle pareti della cameretta di un giovanissimo non-ancora-padre Harry sembra poter creare una certa tensione.

Il giardino attorno alla casa è infinito, serre, siepi e roseti si intrecciano e sovrappongono fino a perdersi nei campi immensi, giù a perdifiato verso le colline e più lontano ancora, al limitare bel bosco.È un posto di una bellezza rara.
Apre mestamente lo sportello del SUV ed inspira l’aria dal pungente odore di fango e pioggia, lasciando che un brivido di freddo lo scuota e lo faccia stringere nella felpa oversize.
E neanche il tempo di dire "crostatina di mirtilli" che la porta del maniero si apre (o meglio, metà della porta gigantesca del maniero lo fa) e dopo un attimo di panico, Louis Tomlinson si para davanti a lui.* Oppure: Sei anni dopo lo hiatus della band ed Harry Styles va in overdose.
Acconsente ad andare in rehab solo se avrà la possibilità di trascorrere del tempo a Villa Beatitudine, il maniero nel nord dello Yorkshire acquistato da Louis Tomlinson nel 2019.
E Louis ha già perso una madre e una sorella, non può davvero perdere anche Harry.
