Summary
Hawk shakes his head as he runs the water, testing it. What a silly dream. The idea of it, of Tim in Hawk's space, making breakfast, Hawk looping his arms around Tim's waist, it's entirely laughable. Tim is Hawk's friend. Though, Hawk supposes it's normal to dream about people you spend a lot of time with. Hawk has dreams about his friends – Tim included – often.
(Hawk tries to ignore the way it sticks with him through the day. Tim's fingers on the inside of his wrist, the way it had felt to have Tim's warm body pressed against his chest. It felt real.
Again, what a stupid thought. It wasn't. And it never would be, so Hawk has no idea why his brain is concocting stupid ideas.)
or, Hawk is having some odd dreams. It has nothing to do with hidden feelings about Tim Laughlin, why do you ask?

Summary
“I was going to order milk.” Hawk laughs. Genuinely, for the first time tonight at a joke that wasn’t by Lucy or Marcus. The man next to him does not.
“Milk?” Hawk repeats.
“I know it’s silly,” He sips the drink the bartender hands him. “This isn’t bad, though.”
“‘Course not,” Hawk replies easily, “I ordered it.”
“Are you normally so confident in your drink ordering abilities, Mr. Fuller?”
Or, Hawk, Tim, and figure skating. They fall in love along the way.

Summary
A book is pulled from the shelf. Hawk readies his expression into the most attractive look he can muster – the one that makes all the boys back home follow Hawk wherever he takes them. Tim startles at Hawk's face from behind the book he's picked out. Hawk theatrically looks up from his own book.
“We have to stop meeting like this,” Hawk says. Tim glowers, sliding his book back into place, blocking Hawk's face, and marching away.
“Come on,” Hawk hops off the ladder and blocks Tim's exit, leaning against the shelves. “You can't still be mad that I accidentally mixed up our earbuds.” Tim huffs, shoving Hawk lightly out of the way.
Huh. They don't normally do that.
or, a university hawktim au. hawk falls first and (in his humble opinion) harder.

“It’s a family tradition. Maggie did it, my mom did it, my grandfather, my great grandmother– It goes way back.” He looks a little embarrassed. “I know this wedding is kind of far from anything my family would deem traditional–”
“Maggie’s certainly seeing to some of it.” Tim laughs, his head knocking against Hawk’s collarbone. Hawk draws him in easily, laying a kiss to the crown of Tim’s hair. “Sorry, go on.”
“It’s okay. I just… thought it might be nice if we did… you know,” Tim gestures to Hawk’s hand. “This.”
“I got it, Skip. Don’t worry.” Tim beams up at him. Hawk is so, so lucky. Tim is so beautiful. Hawk's sort of crazy about him.
“I know you do.”

Summary
“And in my wonderings, my thoughts drifted–”
“How curious,” Tim hums, noticing Marcus has already taken the liberty of steering them toward one of the nearby training rooms. “They always seem to, when you find the time is right to be sticking your nose into my business.” Marcus nudges him, for interrupting or for his choice of words, he can’t tell.
“They're sending you to Chandria, right? I wondered if you knew the circumstances in which your mission was assigned.”
Tim takes two training sticks off the wall, one in each hand, twirling them experimentally. “It is unbecoming of a Jedi to speculate,” He says, but it's a practiced answer.
