During spring break one of the Nekoma gyms are under construction which leads to Kuroo dragging his besto friendo out for some fresh air. During their day out, the Tokyo volleyball players run into the Generation of Miracles™. This leads to a wonderful day of mischief and surprises. After their day together the two groups of athletes continue to hang out and become friends. Over time, Kenma starts to fall for the quiet leaders of the Generation of Miracles™. The words echo in Ace's head like a mantra, inescapable and horrifying. Three words that are worse than anything Impel Down had thrown at him so far, worse than the jeers and the torture, worse than the seastone exhaustion and the knowledge of his impending death.
Gramps says the words with a finality that tells Ace he is not going to do anything, that he's not even going to try and help Lu' even if he is the baby of the family, even if he doesn't deserve this - even if he wasn't born with cursed blood in his veins.
