“… Last time you were confident, you turned your hair pink,” Wumuti said, as a sigh escaped her once more, this time sounding much more like that of a woman giving up, rather than one of fondness.
“That… Well that only happened once!” Rui complained, as she sat up straighter, almost as if to seem more serious, “And- and it wasn’t that bad, I fixed it super-fast! You make it sound worse than it was.”
“Your hair was pink for three days,” Wumuti said, her voice flat and completely unimpressed, as she made no attempt to hide her judgement for even a moment.
“Two days at most!” Rui exclaimed, almost as if offended by the notion, “On the third day it was so pale my hair was practically blonde again, so that doesn’t count!”(...)
“Muti?” Rui called out, as she turned around to look once more, almost as if expecting for the other to simply materialize out of thin air once more, “Muti this isn’t funny!”
Or, Rui accidentally turns her girlfriend into a bunny, and turning her back into a human is proving surprisingly difficult. Just like Wumuti.

“How pretty you are,” Wumuti said after a few moments, her voice distant and cold as she bent down slightly, and grabbed onto Muti’s chin, before gently lifting her head back just far enough to be able to see her once more, “you truly do look exactly like me. My, my, it would seem like the priests undersold your value.”

“Look at you trembling already,” Wumuti said, her voice dripping with disappointment as she turned Muti’s head from side to side slowly, almost as if she was examining whether or not to buy a product, “how unfortunate. I had hoped you would last a little longer than the rest. Such a disappointment.”
Or, twice a century, Wumuti, The Goddess of Strength and War, requires a human sacrifice. This year, her little offering is unlike anyone she has ever had before. This year, she’s getting someone who wants nothing more than to please her.

“You still don’t understand, do you?” Rui murmured, as she tilted Wumuti’s head from side to side, “I’ve always been better than you, and I always will be. You belong beneath me, and the sooner you accept that, the better.”

“You know what everyone thinks?” Wumuti snapped, cutting Rui off completely, “They think you’re fake. You talk behind people’s backs, twist their words to make yourself look better and act like you’re above everyone else. You’re not perfect, you’re not even elegant. You’re just a manipulative, spoiled little Princess.”
Or, every interaction between Wumuti and Rui feels like a competition to see who can bring the other down furthest, and Rui seems determined to humiliate Wumuti at every given moment.

“Isn’t it obvious?” Rui practically purred, as she let go of Wumuti’s wrist, a small, unconscious part of her reminding her not to hurt her bunny, “Be a good omega, and let your alpha have a taste, okay?”
“A good omega you say?” Wumuti asked, a small laugh playing on her lips, one that Rui couldn’t quite place, “So that is what this is about.”Or, Rui assumed everyone showed dominance like cat hybrids did, however, little did she know that bunny hybrids do it differently.

“Shh…” Wumuti hushes him, the sound immediately making Hyun’s body relax as if she had an iron grip on his mind and body. “Don’t worry, honey. We both want you… If you can handle it.”

Summary
If anyone asked her the next day why Wumuti should dictate whether or not she could use the restroom when she was a fully grown adult, she would not be able to give them a straight answer.
Wumuti was very sweet, but there was something about her gaze and her tone that just made people want to do as they were told. Rui wasn’t even sure if it would be in fear of her disappointment or of some kind of punishment.

“Pleasurable might be a better word,” Wumuti whispered back, her voice low and bordering on seductive as she pressed the button for the elevator.Or, Chan and Wumuti meet each other at a gala event, and despite being accompanied by their respective partners, they end up spending the night together, and Chan learns that maybe it’s nice to not always be the one in control.

“Rui?” Wumuti asked after a brief pause, the shock evident on her face as she looked at her friend, “Are you- I mean, do you?”Or, Rui has always been curious about Wumuti's job, about being on the receiving end of what she does. She has, however, also been in love with her for a long time now. One drunken confession is about the change everything.
