Summary
Knight John Price was requested to create a small unit to protect the castle and the city surrounding. Source of the recent increasted activity of magical creatures in the nearby forests was a mistery that he and his team were supposted to study and eliminate. Simon Riley is not remotly surprised when he is invited to become part of that group, which turns out to be even smaller than he has expected. In summary it was just two knights, him and Price, a well known archer, Kyle Garrik and some man he has never seen around the castle before, John MacTavish.
Simon is suspicious about the new man, feels something is wrong with him, but he can't quite put ihs finger on it. That is until their unit is caught in an ambush that leaves some of them more wounded than others. All except John MacTavish, who despite (Ghost being sure he saw) getting stabbed doesn't seem to have even a scratch on him.
