Summary
Childe, a world-class professional runner, is reeling from a diagnosis with a terminal heart condition. Stuck in bed with a failing heart, he can’t run, travel, or do anything that gave him purpose before. His career and life appear to be over.
To help him adjust, the doctors prescribe Childe virtual reality therapy. He doesn’t expect much to come of it until he meets a mysterious fellow patient, Zhongli.
Together they explore the virtual world called Celestia and each other. And Childe starts to wonder: Can love make a short, bedridden life worth living? Can they find meaning in virtual reality when they’ve lost everything in the outside world?
But falling in love comes with the bitter price that Childe, once again, has nowhere to run—from his feelings or himself.

Summary
The plan was simple: go to Liyue, retrieve the Gnosis, maybe blow up a harbor or two, and be home in time for tea. Easy. Childe’s done worse with less.
Then came Zhongli—quiet, infuriatingly polite, and far too intriguing for someone who kept “forgetting” his wallet. What was supposed to be just another mission turned into dinners, silences, and… whatever that was.

Summary
Childe got rid of his mark long ago. He doesn't care about fate, about soulmates, about how the stars kind of know who your soul might find peace with. Most people need peace while Childe needs chaos: one can't truly fight back when one's soul is not on constant alert.
Now that he urgently needs to get his mark back because of those new Snezhnayan policies, his best option is to ask an old friend from Liyue for some guidance and trust the process—Zhongli's presence has always been quite grounding for him anyway.
