But he will need help. Which makes it even more fortuitous that, in this place outside of time, he should meet a Jedi Master named Luke Skywalker...

That's apparently where he is now. He's in a world where the Justice League doesn't exist yet. He's in a world where he doesn't exist. But this isn't the end. He'll get back. He'll get back to his world and (most importantly) back to Dick Grayson.
