“You look good,” Charlie said once the video call connected. Nick couldn’t see anything but Charlie’s face but that was good. That was what he really cared about anyway.
“You look good too,” Nick said, placing the phone down so he could sit on the bed and pull his homework into his lap. This had become a little routine, doing homework together like they were next to each other and not miles apart. “Good day?”
“Eh,” came Charlie’s reply, Nick looked back up at the phone to see his boyfriend’s face. The camera angle had changed, Charlie was laying in bed, with the phone propped up. “Okay.”
