Summary
Sirius growled lowly at the way Ron rolled his eyes.
“You’ll watch yourself, boy,” the older wizard snapped, his lips pulled back into a feral snarl. Harry, without even realizing it, took a step back. He’d only seen Sirius this mad a handful of times, and this did not bode well. Ron, still silenced, glowered as his face and ears turned a bright red.
Harry could actually feel the room grow colder, and he slowly turned to see the absolute murderous look in Sirius’s eyes, on his face. The way the wizard curled his hand tighter in Hermione’s hair, and the shadows that danced across his face only added to the way Harry could see what little restraint the man had was only due to the sleeping witch on his lap.
