It’s the year 2500 and Yuuji is the last living remnant of a world that doesn't exist anymore. The only one who remembers curses. The only one who remembers why he's immortal. The only one who still carries the weight of five hundred years of love and loss.
Then he turns a corner, and sees a face he thought he'd forgotten.
The boy doesn't know him. Of course he doesn't.
But when their eyes meet, Yuuji's heart remembers something his mind lost centuries ago.

“Would you kill me, Chuuya?” The room stills. “Tonight? If I asked nicely? If I begged for it?” The last words slip out like a purr.
The room stills. Dazai is pathetic. Chuuya doesn’t want him to ask, doesn’t want to know what he’d do when Dazai is pliant and begging for it.
Chuuya stares at him. “What the hell are you talking about?”
And Dazai’s chest doesn’t rise or fall.
