Yeah he’s not supposed to meet outsiders under any circumstance, but that's just the family being super strict isn't it? Surely they didn't expect a young growing fox to NOT disobey those rules. It’s in his nature! Or something!He also didn't expect to get torn away from his brothers because of that either! Can you believe it, he got kicked out!! He thought he was like, super important in the family! ...actually, he kinda saw the getting kicked out part, what with the Head of the family acting strange and all....And he did brake a fuck-ton of rules along they way. Not just the talking to outsiders rule. Maybe this was a given actually.
But finding the truth about the original Rot that’s soon to take over the whole mountain again? Well…Let’s just say Karamatsu didn't expect to have such a ...personal... connection to that whole fiasco. Heck, that was way before he was even born! How was he supposed to know?? No one ever tells them anything..
At least he gets to learn how to use a sword throughout all this, that has to count for something no?
