It was the brain-child of the Crown Prince of the Devildom: an exchange program to enhance relations between the Three Realms.
Two inhabitants of each realm: the Celestial, the Earthly, and the Devildom; would each spend a year in the other realms.
Two demons among the angels, two among the humans and mortals.
Two angels on Earth, two in the Devildom.
And two humans in Heaven, and two in what they'd see, arguably, as Hell.One of the humans to reside in the Devildom was easy enough to select: Solomon was a sorcerer of much renown who knew more about demons - and how to survive them - than any other mortal alive.
The other, according to his application, was a mere mortal. A plain, average human.
At least, as far as anyone knew.
But rather than a simple mortal, the Devildom finds itself hosting a powerful Spark...and former demonic vessel in the form of 147 pounds of pale skin and sarcasm known as one Stiles Stilinski.
And nothing, let alone Stiles, would ever be the same again.

Cal Kestis has a strange ability. He can't seem to die.
Whenever he dies, the Force itself brings him back hours or minutes before it happened. It has come handy in the fight against the Empire. But Cal himself has mixed feelings about it, considering he never seems to be able to change anything else than his own death.
A mutual obsession with Darth Vader however puts him in a strange position, and the next thing he knows, he is falling back through time to his childhood. Now Cal is mere days away from the very start of the Clone Wars. He's not sure how Vader managed to break the barriers between times, but Cal is going to use this chance to destroy the Empire before it even began.

He rounded the corner towards the square right in front of the Temple– it was different than before because there had never been a square in front of the Temple.
Obi-Wan froze in place the moment he looked up. His eyes observed the large statues one by one.
Plo Koon, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto– they were all Councillors during the War.
Obi-Wan stood in front of the statues as tears welled up in his eyes. He hadn’t seen them in a long time and these statues looked exactly like them. From facial features and expression down to the way they were seated– as if they were in a regular Council meeting.
“Look Uncle Ben! It’s–” Obi-Wan leaped to Luke and covered his mouth before he could say anything else.
“Yes, I see, it’s General Kenobi.” He hoped the beings whose attention was drawn towards them would move on quickly. “But try not to shout, Luke, alright?”
His eyes left the boy to observe the statue of himself.

Mace Windu was many things, but a morning person was not one of them. Nevertheless, the Force had deemed the ass-end of dawn to be an appropriate time to drag him out of bed and into the gardens. Not that he didn’t enjoy the scenery, but after returning from a grueling diplomatic endeavour-turned hostage negotiation not even three hours ago, he’d rather enjoy the pitch-black setting of his room.
Still, he was a Jedi and, as such, Mace’s duty would always be to follow the will of the Force. Today, it decided to lead him towards the forested areas where two younglings were huddled together at the base of a large tree, sleeping.
Mace tended not to spend a lot of time in the creche, but he recognized the Kiffar child as his friend Tholme's unconventional Padawan. Quinlan Vos, he believed his name was. The other boy was a scrawny redhead with deeper bags under his eyes than most grown adults and the Force drew his attention to this boy in particular.
(In which Knight Windu meets five-year-old Kenobi and six-year-old Vos and, while some things stay the same, everything changes.)

The cold, uncertain reception he finds in the Coruscanti temple is simply too horrible to bear, after the year-long warfare he endured. He has not been reinstated as Qui-Gon Jinn’s padawan yet, anyway, and still without a lightsabre.
But, somehow, through a more winding path, he still ends up a Jedi.
