“Eds, look at that,” Richie says, close to Eddie’s ears.
Eddie’s gaze lingers, but he turns around eventually, grumbling, “What are we looking at?”On the screen, grainy but nevertheless bright, Richie looks at Eddie and declares, “That’s our future!”
He turns to the camera, and then waves his hand, arm still over Eddie’s shoulder, who gulps, blushing, before turning around and starts waving too.The screen turns to black, and it fades away, in that way the old movies did, and the last thing it shows are Richie and Eddie greeting the future in each other’s arms.
--“Were you happy uncle Rich?”
“Ah well,” he smiles, and he thinks of Eddie, the way his thoughts always lead to Eddie. “I had a good time.”
--Or, even though Eddie doesn't, Richie lives.

“Even… E-Eddie?” Bill asks, unsure.
“Even Eddie! Look, Eddie was flirting with Richie. He was giggling in this… really flirty way. High pitched and sweet and all,” and then she leans in, “With intent.”
“With intent,” Stan scoffs again.
“Stan stop scoffing at me from your moral high ground of 'Richie woulda told me' cause I saw them and I’m not lying. Do you think I would lie about this?”
“No, I just think you’re exaggerating things. Richie WOULD have told me, and Eddie doesn’t giggle with intent. His giggling is never intentional, actually, if its Richie, he’s always surprised that he giggles. He does not want to giggle because that would mean he’s giving Richie the satisfaction from a bad dick joke!”
“Alright, Stan,” she says like it is an insult. “What could we possibly do for you to believe me?”
Stan thinks for a moment before he resigns himself, “A picture. Photographic evidence. Clear. Not—incriminating but obvious enough.” Then, Stan smirks in a challenge, “If they’re so sweet, that wouldn’t be hard to get, right?”

The orange background contrasts their all black outfit—Eddie in a three-piece suit for his first appearance at The Graham Norton’s Show, and Richie in his bad boy rep, ripped jeans and the leather jacket James Dean-kinda look.
Eddie is a rising star, although always secondary to the Bill and Bev.
Richie, on the other hand, is Richie “Trashmouth” Tozier. World’s favorite singer, or as Eddie likes to call him, a sellout. But he’s what successful is, if there ever is a word for it. Young, rich and popular.
Frankly, Eddie’s heard a lot of shit about Richie. But it’s Hollywood, right? Everybody’s got shit. He didn’t want to believe it at first, but there were pictures. And if they weren’t enough, Eddie had to meet Richie in the dastardliest way possible.
Because Richie has the trashiest fucking mouth there is, and he hasn’t even started talking.

Summary
To be clear, Ilya is grateful the rookies aren’t growing up the way he did in the NHL. Ilya took the hazing to the chin – humiliation rituals, beat downs, grueling practices to prove he could “hang” with the big guns on the team.
That being said, there’s still some part of Ilya that balks at the request by the gaggle of rookies to watch The Iron Giant, a veritable children’s movie at the team’s latest movie night.
