Summary
It’s the speech he has received since he was old enough to remember. The importance of power, of connections and the mix of money and fear that can open doors and change or avoid laws. This is supposed to be his legacy, not the manor, not the vaults. This is what he was trained and molded to do.
Potter is furious now. Good. This is what he knows, this is how their dynamic should be. “You spoiled git. Do not talk about Sirius. He was better than any member of your inbred family.”
Draco enjoys getting the reaction too much to hide it. “I am spoiled? That’s rich coming from your privileged ass. And, technically, he was part of my inbred family, so…”
“How am I privileged?”
“Oh, I don’t know, how about we ask every teacher and figure of authority around?"A collection of meetings between Harry and Draco throughout the years. A story that is based on them being constants in each other’s lives and being there one way or another in every phase of life.
The story is starting in 1997, going at least 10 years, but we’ll see where life takes us. One year per chapter, but chapter length will vary. Weekly updates on Tuesdays. -

Summary
An epistolary tale of Harry and Draco's life after the war (letters, texts, notes). Most of the letters in the beginning are not towards each other, but that doesn't mean they aren't about each other.
The conversations are in chronological order, but they represent just the meaningful extract of written text Harry and Draco send/receive that builds up the story of their endgame.Chapter size will vary greatly, but I’ll put everything connected into one post and I'm aiming for daily posts. “We all want the treaty to be uneventful and everyone starts from the assumption that the parties involved are coming in good faith. There are no bodyguards allowed at the retreat, only representatives of the families who are encouraged to bring a plus one” Kinn continues as if the interruption never happened.
Pete is now even more confused by his role in this, but Vegas looks at him and with a smirk translates what Kinn is so officially saying. “The old men don’t trust eachother at all so everyone is sending their children as representatives. If things go well, they’ll prosper off the deals and the partnerships. If something happens, less competition from the new generation. They also encourage the plus one to have more leverage and less people left to stir the pot if something happens.”
Seeing his confusion Tae intervenes. “Bodyguards aren’t allowed, but we were thinking you could join us as a plus one. What do you say, Pete?”
Was this what Porsche was talking about? Going into a closed box with all the heirs of the major players isn’t what Pete would ever consider relaxing…
