Cahara looked in his direction, and Ragnvaldr pretended to be asleep. Not because he was indifferent to his torment: he knew that kind of feeling way too well, and also how shameful it felt to be plagued by nightmares to the point of being reluctant to fall asleep. Cahara had been a good friend to him during the brief time they fought together… That was the least Ragnvaldr owed him.
Besides, it wasn't like he was in a much better state himself.-
Both Ragnvaldr and Cahara have trouble falling asleep in that dungeon.

Summary
Moonless got comfortable close to his chest, and Cahara absentmindedly scratched her back. The floor was hard and freezing cold, but feeling Moonless' warmth and coarse fur was comforting enough to compensate for it.
He needed that so much… Just a small reminder that he wasn't alone inside that cell anymore, waiting for his inevitable end.-
Struggling to fall asleep, Cahara finds some comfort in the presence of his companions.
