First blinks, already looking away. “Hey, let’s gossip a little,” he continues, like he didn’t just see anything at all. “I heard one of the staff say something about Joss and Gawin in a project together? What’s that about?”
P’Jack clucks his tongue and looks sly. “Crazy, right? That Tha finally wore Joss down. They’ve been trying to get him to do BL for years. A big, strong man like that? The viewers will go insane. Apparently, he only agreed to it because of Gawin.”

“I’m glad you’re here tonight. Jay’s on.”
“Jay?” Gawin asks, leaning forward.
Earth’s smile is all teeth. “Yeah. We’ve been trying to get you guys to meet for months now. You’re a hard man to tie down.”
“W-what? Why?” Gawin says, feeling his stomach sink. Earth just pats his shoulder.
“You’ll see. Have another drink. I want you loose for what’s coming.”
