The bright lights, uncomfortable mattress, itchy hospital gown, quiet dread that he might never get out of the bed, it all became familiar to him.

According to physicians at Hellgate Prison, the man suffered a sudden aneyrysm of the brain. He is remembered for his conservative policies and charges of fraud, which landed him in prison five years previously. He is survived by his only son, Councilman Wylan Van Eck. The Councilman has refused to comment on his father's death at this time.
