He was an excellent chef, but a piece of shit after all. She didn’t deserve that, in fact nobody deserved Sydney. He knew it the moment she walked into The Beef. She was overqualified, too good for this place. To bring her down to his fucked up level was cruel. She had an opportunity, a better one than where she was, so she went.
