Summary
He scoffed. His fault. There was no other way to fix this. No other way to show Aether that he didn't mean to. Didn't mean to crowd him out, didn't mean to. Didn't mean to. No other way to make sure he never hurt anyone again.
His fault. Hopeless wrapped him up like a terrible blanket, made worse by the suffocating heat of the pit below him.
His fault.
It was his fault.
He stepped off the edge.
OR
Everything was fine until Phantom brought up something Sodo would much rather be forgotten. Something not just unfair, but extremely untrue. What happens when Sodo is driven to the edge of a cliff, and Phantom has to find a way to take it back?

Summary
His senses tingle before the bell above the frosted glass door can chime. His eyes dart toward the back of the laundromat where a man is twitching his hips to a tinny pop song blaring through the shitty sound system. There’s a large, dirty duffle bag bursting at the seams lying next to his feet, and black Converse sneakers that have seen better days. One shoe is missing its laces, and both are streaked with splashes of red paint.
It’s not his Spidey sense prickling the back of his neck; just normal intuition, mind and body unwittingly moving toward the man like the gravitational pull of a black hole.
He doesn’t bother to turn, speaking at the cracked plaster wall in front of his face, knowing Peter will hear every word over the buzz of the fluorescent lights above his head. “Of all the laundromats in all the boroughs in the city, he had to walk into mine.”
There’s a fifty percent chance he’s talking to Peter, but it’s as likely he’s talking to one of the voices in his head. And those red spots on his shoes probably aren’t paint. “Hello, Wade. You’ve picked the perfect place for us to air our dirty laundry.”

Summary
Working at the funeral home taught III three things. The dead stay quiet - the living don't. And never get involved in the business of either. Too bad he's always sucked at that last part. Especially when his neighbor hosts loud nightly 'therapy sessions' with someone new each time, while the missing persons board down the hall keeps getting more crowded

Summary
Deep down he knew it couldn’t end well. Stoick didn’t listen to him in their own home, so why would he ever during something that was meant to be a bloody battle to the death?
When his hammer hits that rung, it’s as if he’s sentenced him to death for his betrayal. The execution would have been quick— though certainly not painless— if not for his friend, determined to save his life, fighting off the Monstrous Nightmare that was meant to burn him to a crisp or bite him to pieces.
It’s not the dragon he was worried about.
Maybe Toothless could have won against the vikings that had begun climbing down into the arena, but on Hiccup’s request, he hadn’t killed a single one. His pleading leads nowhere when he begs him to leave, to save his own life, the dragon too set on protecting him.
Hiccup knows Toothless won’t leave without him, so in a brief moment of something between brilliance and insanity, he jumps on his back.
Poor thing can’t fly without him anyway.Bookmarked by larkluster
