    Alex could recite the script for an entire night as though they were the only words she’d ever learned.

    After a while, it got pretty damn boring. Even still, that was better than when someone said the wrong line. Because when someone said the wrong line, the whole play changed, and suddenly everyone was fumbling through some very shoddy improv. Alex didn't like improv.
