Summary
Even after years of no evidence, Tony Stark refused to stop looking for his kidnapped son. Some people called it false hope, others called it fatherly love. But May Parker called it an opportunity.
“You and that kid share quite a few similarities, and the case has so little evidence. With your help, I really think we could use those things to our advantage.”
Peter was dubious. “How, though?” he asked, his tone teetering toward sarcasm. It was a natural impulse that he couldn’t consistently avoid. No matter how hard he tried. “What do you want me to do? Knock on Tony Stark's front door and pretend to be Arno?”
May said nothing as she stared at him from across the table. Initially, he didn’t understand. But as she elevated her eyebrows and tilted her head, it clicked. That was exactly what May wanted him to do.

Summary
Roll the tapes back to 2008, just as Tony Stark went missing. Only this time, the story goes slightly differently because when Tony ends up in that cave in Afghanistan, it's not just alongside Ho Yinsen. This time, he has a reason from within to fight to get back home, and when he does, he's certainly not the Tony Stark the world or his friends remembered -- and he's also not alone.
This is not an original concept, but I wanted to try my hand at rewriting the MCU if Peter was Tony's biological son and had been in the cave with Tony the whole time.

Summary
Peter Parker knows that Tony Stark is his father. He knows and hates him for it. With nowhere left to go, Peter goes to Stark Tower to inform Mr. Stark that he’s Peter’s father but is thrown out of the tower by security without seeing Tony. Peter Parker needs help. Who is this kid that showed up at the tower? Tony needs answers. What does he know about raising a kid? How the hell is he supposed to help a son he just discovered he had sort through trauma when Tony’s been stuffing his own stress and trauma down for years? Tony knows one thing for certain: he doesn’t want Peter to grow up to be like him… to stuff all of the crap he’s been through down and end up pushing everyone around him away. Well shit… that means Tony will have to lead by example.

Peter has been through a lot. He’s been through the kind of things that change a person. He’s bitter and sarcastic. Peter has to find his way back to who he once was with the help of a man he’s known about his entire life, but has never known.Series

Summary
Tony Stark had lost his son when he was only 2 years old, stolen away in broad daylight with nobody the wiser of what exactly happened. Years later, Tony has just made it through the disaster with Ultron. He is trying to keep himself and the team together but relationships are strained and tempers are running high.
Then a random turn of events leads to his path crossing with that of a particular vigilante. They are strangers to each other, or so they think.Peter Parker is on top of the world. After a few shitty years, losing his parents and then losing his Uncle, things are finally looking up. Sure he lives in a crappy little apartment with his Aunt but he might have just found his mission in life.

This is an AU story obvious by some of the tags. I'm starting out a few weeks after Age of Ultron took place. Civil War will be a thing.

Peter had been kidnapped, and Tony had been asked for a ransom. He would pay anything to get his son back. He didn’t know what had gone wrong, but the kidnappers never showed up to collect the money. Now Peter is gone and they can’t find him. It’s been months, but Tony and Pepper will never stop looking. It had been months, but Peter hadn’t given up hope yet. He’d seen other kids give up hope… met dozens of others in his time being shipped from place to place. He had even helped some of them escape. Peter knew his mom and dad would never stop looking for him though. They weren’t going to give up hope, so he couldn’t either.
OR
Peter is Tony and Pepper’s bio-son. After trying to help Flash when three guys try to throw him in a van after school, Peter wakes up in a dark room all alone. For Whumptober 2023.
