When TK left New York in the wake of everything, he cut all ties completely and never looked back. 3 years later while in New York to visit Jonah and Enzo, TK and Carlos run into some of TK’s old crew members from 252. Given everything, he’s not exactly expecting to be received with open arms. But it’s time for the prodigal son to face the music and with Carlos by his side, he knows there’s nothing he can’t do.
He only hopes they can find it in themselves to give him the one thing he knows he doesn't deserve: forgiveness.

Summary
“He can play a little longer,” Carlos agrees. He lets the file slide from his lap onto the floor as he turns fully toward his husband. “He’s a good kid.”
The next day, Carlos is forced to question that statement when he finds the said "good kid" skipping school in a very compromising position. Now, Carlos and TK have to face a parental challenge, complete with a sex talk 2.0 that none of them are prepared for.

“You can stay for as long as you’d like,” Carlos had told him, leaning down for their first kiss in months, a gentle brush of lips that was filled with so much love and care and all the things that TK never thought he’d be able to have again. But deep down, he knew what the kiss truly was. A distraction.
TK didn’t doubt that Carlos meant what he said. He didn’t even doubt that Carlos was all in, that despite all that TK had put him through, he still wanted him back. But while Carlos’ words were genuine, as was his kiss, it was his eyes that betrayed every single truth that Carlos had ever tried to hide. He didn’t believe him.
TK told him that he’d stay, and Carlos didn’t believe him.
