He’s got a self-righteous idiot who thinks he breathes justice (even though he’ll always be on their side), when really, he’s just an idiot with a weapon.
He also has a stupidly kind idiot, who never says no (infuriating, and lovable, and please smile like that again), and can be caught looking at them with this dopey, daydreaming smile.
There’s also a scary idiot, who eludes feelings like it’ll actually kill him (let me love you, you fuc-), but somehow has the audacity to blush prettily enough to make his heart squeeze.
They’re all his, and dumb, and his.

Summary
Hanako is not emotional.
He is a thing sculpted out of decades, created out of the unfeeling hand of time. Hanako has seen things that no person should ever witness— has witnessed life and death throughout all his time being bound to the confines of Kamome. He does not do emotions, or jealousy.
Hanako does not get envious, or sad, or feel anything for that matter, thank you very much.
And yet.
And yet.
But Hanako does not get emotional, he does not pout nor sulk like a child (he absolutely does).
It is tactical. It is strategic. And it is called chasing away your feelings until they start chasing you instead.
And he is currently drowning in his own emotional repression, otherwise known as denial.
But it’s not like he was willing to climb back to the surface in the first place.
Or, Hanako gets jealous and refuses to admit it.
Nene sees anyways.

And Nene will completely miss the irony of the fact that her observations still come packaged in a bundle of how Amane contrasts against his twin. If she articulated these thoughts to Amane, it would surely make his mouth twist into a chagrined smile (and Tsukasa never uses chagrined smiles, he smiles with all of his teeth or not at all).
